President Biden emphasized that he would not change his decision and highlighted that he was the candidate who won the Democratic primary.

On the 27th of last month, during a presidential candidate television debate, President Biden stuttered and made off-topic remarks. On the 11th, at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, he mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as "Putin," then immediately corrected himself. In the subsequent press conference, he mistakenly called Vice President Kamala Harris "Vice President Trump."
