Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) announced on the 12th that it received a donation of 48,880 children's books from the Paper Culture Foundation (Chairperson Noh Younghye) and Paper Nara (General President Jeong Gyu-il) on the 8th.
The donated books consist of sticker books, coloring books, origami, and art education materials that are beneficial for enhancing creativity and emotional development in infants and toddlers. These will be evenly distributed to 30 public and national daycare centers in the district. On the day, Lee Kyung-ah, President of the Jongno-gu Public and National Daycare Center Association, and Vice President Kwon Jeong-sook also attended to express their gratitude.
The Paper Culture Foundation and Paper Nara, located in Jung-gu, Seoul, also donated 22,341 children's books to Jung-gu last month. District Mayor Jeong Munheon stated, “I bow my head in gratitude for the generous donation of over 40,000 books to support the healthy growth of infants and toddlers.”
