Steven Jung, PwC Samil Partner, Appointed as Head of Corporate Finance M&A Advisory for Asia-Pacific Region

Samil PwC announced on the 12th that Partner Steven Jung (Korean name Jung Seungmin) has been appointed as the head of Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) advisory for PwC Asia-Pacific.

PwC Asia-Pacific is a regional alliance consisting of 13 PwC member firms in the Asia-Pacific region, including Samil PwC, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and India, which are currently the core of global economic growth.

As the appointed head of Corporate Finance and M&A advisory, Partner Jung will work closely with experts from each member firm to lead cross-border deal sourcing and M&A activities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Partner Jung is an overseas investment and M&A expert who has worked at PwC in the United States, Japan, and Canada, and currently oversees cross-border M&A services at Samil PwC.

He has provided advisory services for numerous global M&A deals conducted by SK Group, including the sale advisory for Japan KFC completed in the first half of this year. He is highly regarded for his deep understanding of various Asia-Pacific countries, making him well-suited to lead corporate finance and M&A services in the region.
