Jinju City, Korea Business Incubation Association, and Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation Sign MOU
Jinju City in Gyeongnam is expected to accelerate the creation of a youth startup ecosystem by spreading Jinju K-Entrepreneurship both domestically and internationally.
The city announced on the 10th that it had signed a business agreement with the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation and the Korea Business Incubation Association at the welcome dinner of the 'Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Youth Forum' to promote the spread of Jinju K-Entrepreneurship.
The signing ceremony was attended by Jinju Mayor Cho Kyu-il, Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation Chairman Kim Jonguk, Korea Business Incubation Association President Lee Gwanggeun, Korea International Trade Association Vice Chairman Lee Seunghyun, Gyeongsangnam-do Vice Governor for Economic Affairs Kim Myeongju, Maeil Business Newspaper Deputy Editor Hwang Inhyeok, and about 100 participants including university students from across the country and young entrepreneurs participating in the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Youth Forum.

This agreement was made to promote mutual exchange and cooperation for the global spread of Jinju K-Entrepreneurship and the cultivation of an innovative startup ecosystem.
The main contents of the agreement include: ▶Global spread of Jinju K-Entrepreneurship, ▶Mutual cooperation in holding the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Forum, ▶Jinju K-Entrepreneurship education for business incubation personnel, and ▶Support for small and medium-sized enterprise startups and the promotion of an innovative startup ecosystem.
Mayor Cho Kyu-il stated, "Jinju City will strive to become the mecca of international economic forums like the Davos Forum and the center of youth startups through the spread of Jinju K-Entrepreneurship," adding, "I hope that young people will embrace Jinju K-Entrepreneurship, freely pursue their dreams and passions, and continue the success stories of the world's top four global companies."
Kim Jonguk, Chairman of the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation, said in his greeting, "Today marks the anniversary of the official launch of the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation in Jinju City last year," and added, "We have tirelessly worked to spread Jinju K-Entrepreneurship worldwide and to achieve a new economic leap for Korea. Through today's event, I hope to inspire young people with Jinju K-Entrepreneurship and share my experience as a senior entrepreneur to help spread the dream of entrepreneurship."
Lee Gwanggeun, President of the Korea Business Incubation Association, emphasized, "The core values of Jinju K-Entrepreneurship are the most important management philosophy for startups, and the spread of Jinju K-Entrepreneurship is deeply related to the activation of business incubation, which is key to revitalizing the local economy."
