The Arts Management Support Center (hereafter AMS) announced on the 9th that it will exhibit media art works for Incheon International Airport users in collaboration with Incheon International Airport Corporation. This project targets the autumn season, which draws the attention of overseas art professionals and visitors due to events like KIAF and Frieze Seoul, and it began earlier on the 1st at Gimpo and Gimhae Airports. This time, the world’s largest Incheon Airport is being transformed into a media exhibition space for emerging artists.
Sixteen works by 8 emerging domestic artists (teams) will be exhibited under the theme "Ghost Out of the Machine." The works of young artists who quickly respond to changes in the digital era will be presented through screens at the airport connecting cities.
The exhibition starts from the interpretation that cities, people, and buildings are connected as a network like an air route linking the sky, and the beings living within it are given new identities.

The exhibition, which defines new identities as "ghosts," features diverse conceptual works such as Sanghee’s "One Room Babel," Han Jihyung’s "They Cannot Tough Her," Park Yoonju’s "Acid to York," Kim Heecheon’s "Double Exposure," Choi Chansook’s "The Tumble," Choo Soo’s "Dali’s Amy," Park Minha’s "Shadow Planet," and Jeon Sojung’s "Syncop," displayed throughout the airport.
There will also be docent tours and events utilizing augmented reality (AR) works. A representative from Woombi, the exhibition organizer, said, "Since this exhibition is held in connection with major art events this fall, it will be an opportunity to introduce Korean media art to the world." The exhibition runs until November 10.
