Providing Self-Development and Everyday Merchant Discount Services Without Annual Fees
Monthly Discount Limit of 15,000 KRW for Spending Over 200,000 KRW in the Previous Month

IBK Industrial Bank launches 'I-Heroes' check card to support veterans' social reintegration

IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 9th that it will launch the ‘I-Heroes’ check card to support the social advancement of young discharged veterans.


The ‘I-Heroes’ check card offers specialized discount services at self-development and daily life-related merchants with no annual fee for discharged veterans within 3 years after discharge or under the age of 34, including ▲5% at academies and bookstores ▲10% on language test fees such as TOEIC and JPT ▲5% on mobile communication charges ▲10% on railroad and express bus fares ▲10% on OTT subscription fees such as Netflix and TVING.


The monthly integrated discount limit is 15,000 KRW when the previous month’s usage exceeds 200,000 KRW, and users can choose between international use (VISA) and postpaid transportation functions.


Card issuance will be available nationwide from July 16 through branches, i-ONE Bank, and IBK Cube, with military service information verified via public MyData upon subscription.


An IBK Industrial Bank official said, “We will continue to develop card products that provide practical help to discharged veterans, expressing our gratitude for their dedication to the nation.”


Meanwhile, IBK Industrial Bank will hold an event until August 31 to commemorate the launch of the ‘I-Heroes’ check card, offering a 10,000 KRW cashback for customers who use over 30,000 KRW after card issuance and event participation.
