Silla University-Commissioned Sajik Community Welfare Center and Neulpumgachi Collaborate to Promote Proper Medication Use

Prevention Education on Drug Abuse for Adolescents, etc.

Silla University (President Heo Namsik) announced on the 8th that Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, which it manages, has signed a business agreement with the corporation Neulpumgachi to create a proper environment for the use of pharmaceuticals.

Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center has been selected as the operating institution for the “All-Pharm: Education Project for Proper Pharmaceutical Use Environment” by the Daegu Council on Social Welfare and the Daegu Community Chest of Korea, and is working to foster a healthy environment for medication use.

On the 3rd, Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center Director Hwang Seungho, Neulpumgachi CEO Park Sangwon, and key officials from both organizations attended a ceremony where they agreed to mutually cooperate on ▲ specialized education for “All-Pharm Edu: Youth Drug Misuse Prevention Education” ▲ providing supervision for the overall operation of All-Pharm, and to work together to create a proper environment for medication use in the local community.

With this agreement, the two organizations will promote specialized education on drug misuse prevention for local residents and youth, as well as provide information to foster a healthy environment for medication use. On this day, they took their first step by conducting drug misuse prevention education for elementary school students.

Park Sangwon, CEO of Neulpumgachi, said, “We will strive to serve as a bridge connecting local pharmacists and the community,” and added, “We look forward to getting closer to local residents, who are the actual users of medications, together with social welfare facilities.”
