National Intelligence Service and Major Institutions in Busan Also Participate
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) is conducting a ‘Joint Cybersecurity Campaign’ with the National Intelligence Service in celebration of ‘Information Security Month’ in July.
This campaign was organized to emphasize the importance of information security and prevent cyber damages, as security threats such as cyber fraud and malicious emails exploiting new technologies have been on the rise. Major financial and public institutions in Busan are also participating with the support of the local branch of the National Intelligence Service.
Throughout the month, Busan Bank will launch a series of activities starting with President Bang Seongbin’s participation in the ‘SNS Relay Campaign’, including ▲employee training to prevent personal information leaks ▲production of ‘Information Security You Need to Know These Days’ content ▲distribution of cybersecurity promotional wet wipes, and more.
Additionally, on the morning of the 8th, a promotional video was aired on the main branch lobby’s electronic display during commuting hours, and promotional materials containing information security tips were distributed to employees.
Busan Bank President Bang Seongbin said, “I hope this joint campaign will help raise awareness of the importance of cybersecurity among citizens and enhance employees’ security awareness,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our institution’s security level and create a stable digital environment through close cooperation with relevant organizations.”
