The little customer standing in front of the order counter did not place an order but looked around anxiously and tapped his feet. Seeing this, a store employee asked, "Are you looking for something? Can I help you?" but the child did not respond and just wandered near the display case. Soon after, a female customer who entered the store began to watch the child closely. This customer was Officer Choi Young-eun of the Ulsan Bukbu Police Station, who is in charge of missing person profiling. Officer Choi happened to visit the sandwich shop after work for dinner and immediately sensed that the child was missing.

Officer Choi approached the child and asked, "Where are your parents?" Then she took the child's hand and went outside the store to look for the parents. It turned out that the child had come alone to the sandwich shop to buy bread secretly while the mother was paying for items at a nearby store. Footage taken at the store where the mother was shows the child opening the door alone and leaving the store.

Officer Choi met other police officers who were searching for the child near the sandwich shop. The child's mother had already reported the child missing to 112, and other police officers from nearby precincts were searching the area. Officer Choi, who was holding and protecting the child until the mother arrived, safely returned the child to the mother who rushed over after receiving the call.

Netizens who watched the video responded with comments such as "I'm glad the child safely returned to their mother's arms," "Thank you so much as a mother of a child," "Sharp observation," "Thank you to the police officers for your hard work," "I was touched by how someone carefully watched and cared," "Thank you to the police officer who did not forget their duty even outside working hours," and "When they are that small, even a moment of inattention can lead to injury or disappearance, so I'm glad the child met a police officer with keen observation."
