'MMCA Play' is designed to provide an opportunity to experience contemporary art by enjoying culture and engaging in play that uses both body and mind, with the museum as a playground. Children from multicultural families and their guardians are invited to break down barriers of race, culture, generation, class, and genre, seeking solidarity across all generations.

World-renowned soccer player Park Ji-sung will participate in talks, futsal, and exhibition tours with the attendees. A futsal field will be set up inside the education building of the Seoul branch.

The event begins with the 'Future Generation Talk' program. Park Ji-sung will share his multicultural experiences and the journey to achieving his dreams as a soccer player while playing for world-class clubs in the UK, the Netherlands, Japan, and more. The session will be hosted by Babamba from the soccer YouTube channel 'Shoot for Love.'

After the talk, the 'Junior Futsal' session will take place. Park Ji-sung and the coaching staff will demonstrate movements on the grass field. This will be followed by 'Family Futsal,' where children and their guardians form teams to learn futsal together. Coaches from 'We Meet Up Sports,' a social enterprise composed of retired female athletes, will assist.

The 'Junior Futsal' program is open to 18 children in grades 1 to 4 of elementary school. The 'Family Futsal' program requires one child in grades 1 to 4 and one guardian per team, with 18 teams being recruited.

Participants in at least one of the futsal programs can also join the 'Future Generation Talk' program. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the museum’s website. The participation fee is 20,000 KRW per person.

The entire participation fee will be donated under the participant’s name to World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, to support art therapy for children in facilities. About 60 children and guardians from multicultural families connected with World Vision will be invited to participate in 'Junior Futsal.'

Participants will also tour the MMCA special exhibition 'Variable Collections' with Park Ji-sung as a one-day docent. As a father of two, Park Ji-sung will share stories about contemporary art. This program is for 15 teams, each consisting of one child in grades 4 to 6 of elementary school and one guardian.

Reservations can be made for up to two tickets per person on a first-come, first-served basis, and admission is free.
