'Climate Tech Startup Audition' held by Gyeonggi-do on the 4th

Gyeonggi Province will select 100 promising climate tech startups by 2026.

On the 5th, Gyeonggi Province announced plans to select 100 companies to foster climate tech startups, providing various opportunities such as open innovation, global expansion acceleration, and commercialization funding support.

Earlier, on the 4th, Gyeonggi Province held the ‘Climate Tech Startup Audition’ at the Pangyo Global Biz Center and selected the company ‘WeMeet’ for its ‘Support for Introducing Alternative Meat Menus in Cafeterias’ as the best idea.

Gyeonggi Province plans to actively support the climate tech solutions discovered through this audition.

Cha Seong-su, Director of the Climate Environment and Energy Bureau of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The Climate Tech Startup Audition will be an important opportunity to reflect innovative ideas from climate tech companies in policies and to realize carbon neutrality through cooperation between companies and local governments."
