On Friday the 5th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy. The rain that fell from the 4th will mostly stop by the morning.

Over the two days of the 4th and 5th, Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam will receive 30 to 80 mm of rain; the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and Chungbuk will get 20 to 60 mm; and the east coast of Gangwon will see 5 to 10 mm of rain. The southern Chungnam west coast is forecasted to receive over 100 mm, and the northwestern part of Gyeonggi is expected to get over 80 mm of rain.

The expected rainfall for the 5th is 30 to 80 mm in the Jeolla region; 20 to 60 mm in the northern inland areas of Gyeongbuk and western inland areas of Gyeongnam; 10 to 40 mm in Daegu, southern inland Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam; 5 to 30 mm in Jeju Island; and 5 to 10 mm along the east coast of Gyeongbuk as well as Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 21 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 25 and 33 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures will be similar to or slightly higher than usual for this time of year. In the southern regions and Jeju Island, where heatwave warnings have been issued, the highest apparent temperatures will be around 33 degrees Celsius, making it very hot, while other areas will see temperatures rise to around 31 degrees Celsius.

In the mountainous areas of Gangwon, strong winds exceeding 25 meters per second are expected from dawn until afternoon, with a possibility of a strong wind advisory being issued.

Fine dust levels will be 'good' nationwide due to favorable atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the near seas of the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the near seas of the South Sea. In the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
