Kakao Revises Kakao Brain Acquisition Amount from 3.2 Billion to -870 Million

Kakao announced on the 4th that it has changed the final acquisition amount for Kakao Brain from 3.2 billion KRW to -877 million KRW.

The final acquisition amount reflects the change in net assets re-evaluated between the valuation date (March 31) and the acquisition date (May 31). Kakao stated that it was finalized by mutual agreement on the 28th of last month, the date of Kakao Brain's board resolution.
