Accordingly, Line 8, which connects four cities including Namyangju, Guri, Seoul, and Seongnam, will allow boarding and alighting with the Climate Companion Card at all 24 stations, including the newly established Byeollae Line. The six Byeollae Line stations are Amsa Station Park, Jangja Lake Park, Guri, Donggureung, Dasan, and Byeollae Station.

The three stations on the Line 4 extension section established in 2022 (Byeollae Byeolgaram, Onam, Jinjeop) will also support both boarding and alighting with the Climate Companion Card. Until now, only alighting tags were applied, but from now on, boarding and alighting with the Climate Companion Card will be possible across all 29 stations on Line 4.

Seoul has already applied the Climate Companion Card to three Seoul-licensed city bus routes passing through Namyangju. Going forward, Seoul plans to expedite consultations with the central government, Korail, and others to enable the Climate Companion Card to be used at 13 stations on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Gyeongchun Line located in Namyangju.

Mayor Oh said, "The Climate Companion Card has become one of Seoul's representative million-seller policies this year, drawing explosive responses from Seoul citizens. Using the agreement with Namyangju as a starting signal, we will do our best to ensure that more metropolitan area citizens can enjoy various transportation benefits through the innovation of the Climate Companion Card."
