Global food brand Heinz announced the launch of three premium salad dressing products: ‘Thousand Island Dressing,’ ‘Caesar Dressing,’ and ‘Ranch Dressing.’
These dressings are based on mild-tasting sunflower seed oil, effectively expressing the deep flavors characteristic of salad dressings. Unlike salads sold domestically, they do not contain fructose, allowing for a lighter enjoyment. Additionally, Heinz’s unique TOP DOWN squeeze method is applied, enabling economical use of the dressing until the very end.
Thousand Island Dressing features a refreshing, creamy, and clean taste created by appropriately blending tomato paste and various spices. It contains Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, a representative British Worcestershire sauce, to add umami flavor. Using various spices such as natural flavorings, mustard powder, paprika, and onion powder, it delivers a deeper taste with enhanced tanginess. It can be used not only for salads but also as a dipping sauce for meat and seafood, and as a base sauce for sandwiches or burgers.
Caesar Dressing boasts a rich flavor with natural cheddar cheese flavor, natural Parmesan cheese flavor, and Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce. Garlic powder and mustard powder differentiate the finish, and its white creamy texture highlights the cheese flavor, making it suitable for Caesar salads or as a sandwich base sauce.
Ranch Dressing, previously only available through direct import in Korea, contains natural sour cream flavor, offering a refreshing and deep taste. Mustard powder, garlic powder, and rosemary are added to enhance umami and aroma. Ranch Dressing is the best-selling dressing type in the United States and can be used as a convenient dipping sauce for vegetables, perfectly pairing with fried seafood such as fried shrimp and fish cutlets.
An official stated, “The three Heinz salad sauce products launching this time are premium salad dressings with a creamier taste using sunflower seed oil, which can complete the finishing touch of a salad,” adding, “We are building a lineup that allows customers to be with Heinz from the start to the end of their salad experience.”
