Next-Day Delivery of Famous Restaurant Ready Meals

Kurly announced on the 4th that it will expand its same-day delivery service, which delivers orders placed by 11 PM the previous night by the next afternoon, to Jeju Island.

The Jeju same-day delivery service will launch on the 8th, and orders can be placed from 11 PM the previous day. A Kurly representative stated, "We aim to start with densely populated areas such as Jeju City and Seogwipo City and quickly expand delivery to the entire Jeju region."

Through this service, Jeju residents will be able to experience fresh food and popular desserts available on Kurly. Key menu items from Michelin Guide-selected Chef Jeong Ho-young's Udon Kaden, as well as Seochon Yeonghwaru, Littleneck, and Yoon Seoul, can be received in the form of 'Restaurant Meal Replacement (RMR)'.

Previously, Kurly expanded its delivery zones, called 'Cul-se-gwon' (Kurly station zones), from the metropolitan area to the Chungcheong, Yeongnam, and Honam regions. The background for extending Cul-se-gwon to Jeju this time is the 'Full Cold Chain' system. The full cold chain refers to a system that maintains temperature throughout the entire process from production to the customer's hands.

In fact, Jeju same-day delivery operates by transporting refrigerated vehicles loaded with products from the Pyeongtaek logistics center to Mokpo Port by ship, and then heading to Jeju. Kurly explained that the refrigerated state of the vehicles is maintained during this process to ensure the same product quality as on the mainland.

Jihun Kwon, Head of FC Planning at Kurly, said, "Through Kurly's accumulated logistics and delivery capabilities, we were able to create a process to deliver fresh products to customers in Jeju with the same quality as on the mainland. This not only allows us to introduce Kurly's excellent products to Jeju customers but also effectively makes the entire country a Cul-se-gwon."
