Guro-gu Oryu-dong Cultural Space ‘Darak (多樂)’ Refreshingly Enjoying Summer

Friday Performances Throughout July... 1st & 3rd Week at Sindorim Darak, 2nd & 4th Week at Oryudong Darak
‘Oryudong Darak’ Hosts Weekly Saturday Experience Programs

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) operates the free cultural space ‘Darag (多樂)’ and will offer performances and experiential programs throughout July to help beat the summer heat.

First, performances with different themes each week will be held at Sindorim Darag (Saemal-ro 121-15, 2nd floor) and Oryu-dong Darag (Gyeongin-ro 19-gil 12, 2nd floor), and anyone can participate free of charge.

At Sindorim Darag, performances by Kim Yoo-jung, Nordic Sweater, and Yoo Ju-ho will take place at 7 PM on July 5, and on July 19 at 7 PM, Lee Jae-young, Alpaca Acoustage, and Haram will present a moving midsummer night experience to the audience.

At Oryu-dong Darag, Yoon Hyun-ro, Ernest Music, and Jo Sang-hyuk will perform at 7 PM on July 12, and on July 26 at 7 PM, Kim Yeon-jun, Elteras, and Dallyeoun will showcase special stages.

Additionally, Oryu-dong Darag offers experiential programs where visitors can spend Saturday afternoons indoors to escape the heat. The programs include △ July 6: ‘Coffee Grounds Experience’ on the Green Eco Leader’s Path △ July 13: Making Bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry) △ July 20: Making Cup Bingsu (shaved ice dessert) △ July 27: Pottery Painting and Decoration Experience, each held twice daily at 2 PM and 3 PM.

On-site registration is available on the day, but participation may be limited depending on the number of reservations, so it is recommended to apply in advance.
