Dobong-gu Opens Musugol Green Welfare Center at the Foot of Dobongsan Mountain

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has opened the "Musugol Green Welfare Center" (266-2, Dobong-ro 169-gil), a space for rest within the city.

Located at the foot of Dobongsan in Seoul, the center is expected to become a place for residents weary from busy daily lives to rest and recover.

The center, with a site area of 7,334㎡ and a total floor area of 827㎡, consists of two single-story buildings (Building A and Building B) and includes ▲Health Measurement Room ▲Hinoki Cypress Experience Room ▲Mind and Body Relaxation Room ▲Five Senses Healing Room ▲Dietary Therapy Room.

The district has also planned various healing programs utilizing the different experience rooms. After a pilot operation throughout July, the programs will officially begin in August.

The programs consist of activities such as health foot baths, warm hinoki cypress experiences, and tea conversations, allowing participants to enjoy nature and find mental and physical stability.

All programs at the Musugol Green Welfare Center can be applied for through the Seoul Public Service Reservation website. For more details, inquiries can be made to the center’s staff.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, stated, “We established the Musugol Green Welfare Center to create a space where all residents can enjoy universal green welfare. We hope many people will visit here to experience healing through nature and regain lost health and happiness.”
