HD Hyundai Samho Delivers 100 Life Jackets to Ensure Marine Safety During Peak Season

Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kwon Oh-seong) announced on the 3rd that it held a life jacket donation ceremony to promote marine safety culture during the peak season.

This life jacket donation was carried out by HD Hyundai Samho directly donating 100 life jackets to the Korea Maritime Rescue Association Jeonnam Western Branch to promote marine safety culture to the public during the peak season.

The donated life jackets through the ceremony will be used for promotional activities such as "Wearing Life Jackets" and for life jacket rental services for visitors to beaches during the summer season.

Park Han-gyu, Executive Director of HR and General Affairs at HD Hyundai Samho, said, "We are pleased to collaborate with the local community in line with our company's ESG management goals," adding, "We hope the donated life jackets will be used to prevent marine casualties."

Jo Yoon-jae, President of the Korea Maritime Rescue Association Jeonnam Western Branch, stated, "We will strive to promote marine safety culture to the public using the donated life jackets."

A maritime police official said, "We expect that the life jacket donation will greatly help strengthen community solidarity and spread marine safety culture to the public."
