Gwangju National Science Museum Hosts 'Wednesday Sea Talk' Lecture

The National Gwangju Science Museum, in collaboration with the Korea Maritime Foundation and the Gwangju Science Culture Association, will hold the third lecture of the 2024 Wednesday Sea Talk series on the 10th at the Sang-sang Hall in the main building.

This lecture, titled "Learning Coexistence and Consideration from Sandpipers," will feature Professor Kim Jun from Chonnam National University, who will discuss the coastal ecology and characteristics of sandpipers, as well as why sandpipers have various types of beaks.


Wednesday Sea Talk is available to 150 participants on a first-come, first-served basis through online pre-registration on the National Gwangju Science Museum website, and anyone from children to adults can participate free of charge.


A representative of the National Gwangju Science Museum stated, "This will be a meaningful lecture where attendees can learn about the diverse characteristics of sandpipers, coexistence and consideration from sandpipers, and reflect on what consideration humans should have to coexist with sandpipers."
