Fire at Sacheon Food Manufacturing Plant ... All 15 Workers Safe

At around 9:30 a.m. on the 2nd, a fire broke out at a food manufacturing factory in Chukdong-myeon, Sacheon-si, Gyeongnam Province.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Department Headquarters, the fire was extinguished by firefighters who responded to the scene at approximately 10:56 a.m.

At the time, 15 people were working in the factory, but all managed to evacuate on their own, resulting in no casualties.

A total of 70 firefighters and 22 pieces of equipment, including pump trucks, water tankers, and aerial ladder trucks, were mobilized to extinguish the fire.

The fire and police authorities have deployed a fire investigation team and are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
