Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held an 'Anti-Corruption Strategy Review Meeting' on the 2nd at its new headquarters in Gyeonggi Convergence Town, Suwon City, chaired by President Kim Seyong, with all executives including division heads and department managers in attendance.
The meeting was organized to intensively review the progress of integrity policies in corruption-prone areas, secure momentum for promoting integrity, and strengthen management in these vulnerable sectors.
Earlier, since the end of May, each department at GH established strategic tasks for anti-corruption and integrity activities, including identifying potential corruption risks by type of corrupt behavior and improvement measures over the course of about a month.
The meeting proceeded with each department head presenting the diagnosis and review of corruption risks within their departments, along with strategic tasks and integrity activities aimed at improvement across the entire organization.
Key improvement tasks included ▲campaign activities to eradicate improper solicitations and abuse of power ▲integrity simulation training involving clients and service providers ▲and conducting integrity workshops to spread an integrity culture.
President Kim Seyong of GH stated, "It is important to accurately identify corruption risk factors through this review meeting and fundamentally block those risks. We will pay special attention to ensuring that improvement measures are properly implemented so that we can transform into an organization trusted by the residents."
