Professor Jeong Jaehoon of Seoul Women's University Appointed as CEO of Gyeongbuk Happiness Foundation... "Will Strive for Comprehensive Social Welfare"

Professor Jung Jaehoon of the Department of Social Welfare at Seoul Women's University was inaugurated as the 5th CEO of the Gyeongbuk Happiness Foundation on the 2nd.

CEO Jung Jaehoon has served as the Chair of the Regional Coexistence Subcommittee of the Presidential Committee on Low Fertility and Aging Society, as well as the Chair of the Health and Welfare Subcommittee of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Preparation Committee for the Era of Local Autonomy. As one of the nation’s leading experts in social welfare, he has been recognized as the right person to lead major initiatives in line with Gyeongsangbuk-do’s recent declaration of a war against low birth rates.

At his inauguration ceremony, held with executives and staff of the Gyeongbuk Happiness Foundation, CEO Jung outlined four key tasks: balanced regional development, the war against low birth rates, expansion of health and welfare infrastructure, and response to the population decline crisis. He stated, “I will do my utmost to ensure the happiness of Gyeongbuk residents through broad social welfare and youth support, faithful adherence to fundamentals and principles in organizational management, and open management.”
