Icheon-si Holds Monthly Assembly to Commemorate the 2nd Anniversary of the 8th Elected Term

On the 1st, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province held the 'July Monthly Assembly Commemorating the 2nd Anniversary of the 8th Elected Administration' at the Small Theater of Icheon Art Hall. The event was held without inviting external guests and was attended by about 450 people, including 70 citizens honored for their contributions to city development and about 380 public officials.

Mayor Kim Kyung-hee of Icheon City stated, "Although high waves still surge before us, the belief in 'together' gives us the courage to overcome any difficulty," adding, "Let us all join hands and move forward vigorously toward a better tomorrow than today."

After the commemorative ceremony, Mayor Kim visited the Senior Welfare Center located in Jung-ri-dong and volunteered to serve meals at the senior cafeteria. She then visited the 24-hour Childcare Center, worked as a daily caregiver, and took the Ttokbus to have a conversation with citizens.
