Mokwon University and Aizalab Sign 'Industry-Academic Cooperation Family Company' Agreement

The Mokwon University LINC 3.0 Project Group announced on the 1st that it has signed an industry-academic cooperation family company agreement with Aizarab Co., Ltd.


Taking this agreement as an opportunity, the LINC 3.0 Project Group plans to support Aizarab with a package of programs for corporate growth, including technology (management) guidance, field training, employee education, joint technology development projects, technology transfer, use of shared equipment, and participation in overseas industrial exhibitions and forums. A full-time professor will be matched one-on-one with Aizarab to assist growth through customized cooperation.

In particular, Mokwon University plans to expand cooperation by establishing a commercialization sharing model through industry-academic cooperation with the Department of Autonomous Driving, developing autonomous driving carts and settlement function robots, and autonomous item collection within stores.


Aizarab has established itself as a leading company in the field of advanced information and communication technology (ICT) convergence technologies such as four-sided measuring instruments, sensor nodes, and gateways, specializing in a ‘disaster precursor preemptive response control system.’ Recently, it established the Aizarab Research Institute related to the development of reduction devices in the robotics field and is exploring expansion into the autonomous driving industry.


Jung Cheol-ho, head of the Mokwon University LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, “We will do our best to solidify the university’s industry-academic cooperation family company system, strengthen customized support based on corporate demand, and build an industry-academic cooperation ecosystem where universities and companies grow together.”


Meanwhile, Mokwon University’s industry-academic cooperation family company system operates with the purpose of sharing the university’s human and material resources with companies and providing customized support based on corporate demand to promote mutual growth between universities and companies.
