The Jeonnam region, Gyeongnam region, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy, and due to the stationary front, rain from the monsoon is expected mainly on Jeju Island until the 1st, then spreading nationwide from the day after tomorrow. Rain that had been falling along the southern coast will briefly stop at dawn and resume again from late afternoon. Late at night, rain will also fall in other parts of Jeonnam and Gyeongnam regions.

Due to atmospheric instability, scattered showers will pour in the eastern Gyeonggi area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province from late afternoon to evening. Expected rainfall from the showers is 5 to 20 mm in eastern Gyeonggi and 5 to 20 mm in inland and mountainous Gangwon.

From late night on the 1st, heavy monsoon rain with 30 to 50 mm per hour will pour on Jeju Island and expand nationwide on the day after tomorrow and the following day. Most areas nationwide are expected to experience very heavy and intense rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong gusts.

Jeju Island, Jeonnam region, and Gyeongnam region have already received heavy rain, and more heavy rain is expected, so caution is needed for safety accidents such as landslides, soil erosion, facility collapse, and flooding. For the time being, sea fog will cover most maritime areas, and dense fog with visibility below 200 meters will form in island areas, so special attention is required to prevent maritime accidents.
