HS Hwaseong to Debut on the 1st of Next Month... Vision Presentation
On the 30th, Hwaseong Industry announced that it will change its company name to 'HS Hwaseong' for the first time in 66 years since its founding.
The newly revealed name 'HS Hwaseong' reflects Hwaseong Industry's commitment to continuing its history while targeting the global market through its English notation. HS is both the English abbreviation of Hwaseong and carries the meaning of 'Human Sustainability.'
Since its establishment in 1958, Hwaseong Industry has upheld the corporate philosophy of 'creating a pleasant environment and building livable cities,' serving as a strong pillar of the local economy.
This name change was carried out with the goal of diversifying business in response to rapidly changing times. It comes about two years after Chairman Lee Jong-won took office at Hwaseong Industry.
The Technology Development Team led the name change project for about one year and six months. In March, the team won three main awards?the most among construction companies?at the 'iF Design Award 2024' for their works 'Dream Kids Station' and 'Concert Style Playground.'
Meanwhile, Hwaseong Industry will hold a proclamation ceremony on the 1st of next month under the new name 'HS Hwaseong' to reorganize its corporate value system and present the direction and vision the company should pursue.
Chairman Lee said, "Through the new company name, we will inherit our company's past history and brilliant achievements and create an opportunity to pioneer new horizons beyond the framework of construction through new possibilities. We will boldly enter new markets such as overseas business and environmental projects, discover new growth engines, and devote all efforts to full-scale preparations for the next 100 years."
