According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 30th, more than 150mm of heavy rain fell in various inland areas from the previous day until 11 a.m. on the same day. At Hallasan Samgakbong in Jeju, a downpour of 310.0mm was recorded. Additionally, areas near Jirisan and the southern coast received over 200mm of rain since the previous day, including 201.0mm in Gurye (Piagol), Jeollanam-do, 192.5mm in Jindo, and 189.0mm in Hadong (Geumnam), Gyeongsangnam-do.

Currently, the rain cloud band behind the low-pressure system is passing over the Korean Peninsula, and it is expected to push the stationary front southward around 6 p.m. Accordingly, rain will continue until the afternoon in Seoul, Gyeonggi (except southwestern parts), Gangwon, southern inland Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk. In Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, excluding the southern coast, rain will persist until nighttime. The rain on the southern coast is expected to stop by early morning on July 1.

The additional rainfall expected on this day is forecasted as follows: Jeju 30?80mm (up to 120mm or more), Gwangju, Jeonnam, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam 20?60mm (up to 80mm or more on the southern coast), Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk 5?40mm, Gangwon 5?10mm, Daejeon, southern inland Chungnam, and southern Chungbuk around 5mm, and less than 5mm in Seoul and Gyeonggi.

On July 1, the stationary front will stretch between Jeju and the southern coast, potentially bringing heavy rain again to Jeju from early morning. Rain is expected to stop late afternoon on the southern coast, but will resume late at night in Jeonnam and Gyeongnam outside the southern coast. Areas such as the central region where rain temporarily subsides will experience humid and sultry weather during the day due to high humidity.

Following this, on July 2, heavy rain will return nationwide. The expected rainfall by region is: Jeju (from the 1st) 50?100mm (up to 150mm or more), Honam and Gyeongnam 30?80mm (up to 120mm or more on the Jeonnam coast, and up to 100mm or more on the Jeonbuk west coast, Busan, southern Gyeongnam coast, and near Jirisan), Chungcheong 20?60mm (up to 80mm or more in southern Chungnam and southern Chungbuk), Gyeongbuk 20?60mm, the metropolitan area and Gangwon 10?50mm, and the five western islands, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo 5?20mm.
