On the 27th, HS Hyosung held its first official event, a town hall meeting titled 'HS Hyosung Talk Together Season 1,' with about 1,000 employees participating both on-site and online, engaging in interactive communication, the company announced on the 30th. Instead of a formal launch ceremony, Vice Chairman Cho's intention was to create a bright and healthy organizational culture through mutual communication. Vice Chairman Cho attended dressed casually in his usual jeans and hoodie, presenting HS Hyosung's vision directly and engaging in Q&A sessions in a natural and comfortable atmosphere.

Vice Chairman Cho stated, "We must prioritize 'value' as our core DNA to provide excellent value to customers and shareholders, to have a positive impact on the future of all humanity through our activities, and to ensure happiness for all HS Hyosung family members." He added, "We will prioritize enhancing value for all stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, HS Hyosung family, partners, and local communities, and pursue 'value management' that grows together." He introduced 'Value Together Again' as HS Hyosung's catchphrase.

Employees asked questions on various topics such as the company's vision, HR system, and organizational culture from business sites worldwide. Responses indicated sentiments like "The company seems to be improving in a good direction" and "He conveyed the company's direction clearly with a sense of humor."

HS Hyosung plans to hold regular town hall meetings and expand various communication channels such as food tours and social contribution activities to facilitate open communication between management and employees.

In line with its launch, HS Hyosung conducted volunteer activities to support socially vulnerable groups. On the 28th, Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-sang, head of the HS Hyosung Sharing Volunteer Group, along with about 30 employees from HS Hyosung, HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, HS Hyosung Information Systems, and HS Hyosung The Class, visited 'Purume Social Farm,' Korea's first smart farm for the disabled located in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, to harvest crops such as tomatoes with young adults with developmental disabilities and participate in processing and packaging together.

Vice Chairman Cho said, "I consider it very meaningful that HS Hyosung's first external event started by giving to others rather than ourselves."

Meanwhile, HS Hyosung announced the appointment of Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-sang of Hyosung Group and Executive Vice President Ahn Sung-hoon of Hyosung Heavy Industries as inaugural co-CEOs. Shin Deok-soo, former executive of Hyosung Strategy Headquarters, was appointed head of the Support Headquarters, and Lee Chang-yeop, former executive of Hyosung Finance Headquarters, was appointed head of the Finance Headquarters. Outside directors include former Deputy Prime Minister Kwon Oh-kyu, former Supreme Court Justice Park Byung-dae, Oh Byung-hee, director of Incheon Sejong Hospital, and Lee Sang-yeop, vice president of research at KAIST.

HS Hyosung took its first step with major affiliates including HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, HS Hyosung Information Systems, HS Hyosung Holdings USA, HS Hyosung The Class, HS Hyosung Toyota, HS Hyosung Vina Logistics Corporation, and Gwangju Ilbo. The newly established holding company has sales in the 7 trillion KRW range, about 90 global bases, and approximately 10,000 employees.
