Expert Consultation for Preemptive and Post-Remedial Technology Infringement
Free Support for Up to 7 Days
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it will begin operating the "Integrated Technology Protection Support Team" starting July 1. The "Integrated Technology Protection Support Team" is a project that combines the "On-site Consultation by Technology Protection Experts" and the "Technology Protection Support Team" into one, providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expert advice in legal and security fields for the prevention or post-remedy of technology infringement.
Composed of 13 technology protection officers from 13 regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administrations nationwide and 217 technology protection experts, the "Integrated Technology Protection Support Team" will promptly visit SME sites across the country to offer customized solutions for each company.
Specifically, for the prevention of technology infringement, support includes checking companies' security policies and guidelines, training on how to draft non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property (IP) management, and labor management. For companies that have suffered technology infringement damages, consultations on post-remedy matters such as technology disputes, litigation response strategies, and legal advice are available.
Additionally, while previous projects provided free support for up to 2 or 3 days per field, this integration allows SMEs to receive on-site expert consultation for up to 7 days free of charge at once, regardless of the field.
Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the Technology Protection Fence website, where detailed information about the project is also available.
