The volume of apartment sales transactions in Seoul reached 4,343 cases, marking over 4,000 cases for two consecutive months following March. The transaction volume in May also showed an upward trend, with record-high sales continuing in some areas. The government's real estate tax relief measures and expectations of interest rate cuts are also influencing the buying momentum. With initiatives such as the abolition of the comprehensive real estate tax and the easing of capital gains tax and acquisition tax for multi-homeowners underway, more buyers are actively entering the market.
In particular, the supply of apartments in Seoul is expected to sharply decrease going forward, increasing the scarcity of newly launched complexes within the city. Among these, ‘Shingil AK Prugio,’ located in the Shingil-dong area of Yeongdeungpo-gu, is attracting attention as it prepares for a non-priority new subscription on July 1.
