Advanced metal manufacturing company HVEM is soaring on its first day listed on KOSDAQ on the 28th.
As of 9:38 AM on the 28th, HVEM is trading at 29,400 KRW, up 63.33% (11,400 KRW) from the previous trading day.
HVEM, formerly known as Korea Vacuum Metallurgy, is a company that produces metals needed for semiconductors and displays.
In the demand forecast conducted for institutional investors before the listing, it recorded a competition rate of 837 to 1. Thanks to this high competition rate, the public offering price was set at 18,000 KRW, exceeding the company's desired range (11,000 to 14,200 KRW). Subsequently, the subscription competition rate for general investors was 960 to 1.
At the IPO press conference held earlier on the 17th of this month, HVEM announced that its expected sales for this year are 57.4 billion KRW, and next year's sales are projected to reach 105.8 billion KRW.
