Korea Housing Finance Corporation Receives Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Award for Promoting Welfare of Veterans' Families

Recognition for Contributions to Improving Housing Welfare for National Merit Recipients

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Choi Junwoo) received a commendation from the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs in recognition of its efforts to improve the welfare of veterans’ families during the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

This award is given to organizations that contribute to creating a social atmosphere of respect and support for national merit recipients and veterans through social contribution activities. Recipients are selected based on criteria such as contribution to national development, improvement of citizens’ quality of life, and customer satisfaction.

HF was highly evaluated for its efforts to reduce the housing burden for national merit recipients by lowering guarantee fees for its personal guarantee products and offering preferential interest rates on mortgage loans such as Bogeumjari Loan.

In addition, the corporation was recognized for its contribution to improving the housing welfare of national merit recipients through the ‘HF Honor House’ project, which has been renovating and repairing the homes of war veterans since last year.

President Choi Junwoo stated, “I am honored that the corporation’s social contribution efforts have been recognized,” and added, “We will continue to honor the spirit of sacrifice of those who served the nation and take the lead in improving the housing welfare of veterans and their families.”
