Choi Hakbeom Elected as Chairman of Gyeongnam Provincial Council for Second Half of 2024

Choi Hakbeom, the chairman of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council for the second half of 2024, is expressing his acceptance speech.

Choi Hakbeom, a member of the People Power Party in the Gyeongnam Provincial Council, ran as the sole candidate in the 2024 second half council chairperson election held on the 26th and was ultimately elected with 62 out of 64 votes.

Chairperson-elect Choi stated, "For the next two years, I will join forces with my fellow council members to create a council that communicates with the residents and operates dynamically based on capability, all grounded in harmony and cooperation."

He added, "I believe that one step taken by ten people is more valuable than ten steps taken by one person. I promise to practice a politics of service by communicating constantly and never neglecting even a single council member."
