S-OIL Supports Rest Facilities for Six Partner Companies at Its Plant On the 26th, S-OIL supported cooling and heating rest facilities for six partner companies at the Ulsan plant to promote win-win cooperation projects led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, as well as to practice ESG management.

This support event for rest facilities was held alongside a campaign on the three key rules for health management and prevention of heat-related illnesses in preparation for the heat wave. Attending the event were Kim Jaehoon, Ulsan Branch Head of the Ministry of Employment and Labor; Gong Heungdu, Busan Regional Director of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency; Hong Seungpyo, S-OIL CSO (Chief Safety Officer); Kim Bochan, Ulsan CLX Head; and other responsible executives. They pledged continued support for partner companies based on a corporate culture of mutual growth and government policies.

Kim Jaehoon, Ulsan Branch Head of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, stated, "This year, the heatwave advisory was issued a week earlier than last year, making the management of heat-related illnesses even more important. S-OIL's support for partner company rest facilities is a model case of practicing care and sharing with partners. I hope this atmosphere of mutual growth between primary and subcontractors will spread to many companies in the Ulsan area."

Gong Heungdu, Busan Regional Director of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, emphasized, "Through S-OIL's support for rest facilities, the effectiveness of win-win cooperation projects has been proven. I hope this excellent example will spread nationwide and act as a catalyst for making all industrial sites comfortable and healthy workplaces."

Hong Seungpyo, S-OIL CSO, said, "With the early arrival of the heat, I hope the air-conditioned and heated rest facilities supported by S-OIL will provide a cool shelter for partner company workers. S-OIL will continue to strive for mutual growth with partner companies and develop together with them."

Since 2010, S-OIL has been conducting various win-win cooperation support projects for sustainable growth with partner companies. These include annually evaluating the overall performance of partner companies to select and reward outstanding ones, providing scholarships to the children of employees of small and medium-sized partner companies near the Onsan plant, and more. The support for partner company rest facilities will also continue to be expanded.
