The police investigating the complaint cases related to the deceased teacher at Daejeon Yongsan Elementary School have concluded the case by ruling all involved parties as not guilty.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency announced that after investigating a total of 10 people, including 2 school officials and 8 parents, following complaints from the bereaved family and an investigation request from the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, it was decided not to prosecute due to difficulty in recognizing criminal charges.

The police explained that they thoroughly examined the status and content of complaints raised by parents, the handling process by school officials, the response methods of the principal and vice principal when complaints were raised, and the statements of teachers, but found no evidence to recognize criminal charges against the investigation subjects.

A police official stated, "After a multifaceted and comprehensive review of the materials secured during the investigation and the statements of related parties, it was difficult to recognize criminal charges."

Meanwhile, Mr. A, who had been working at an elementary school in Yuseong, suffered from malicious complaints from parents for several years and made an extreme choice in September last year. He was transferred to a hospital but passed away two days later.

In response, the bereaved family and the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education filed complaints and requested investigations on charges of obstruction of official duties, defamation, and threats due to repeated complaints by parents, and on charges of abuse of authority and neglect of duty against school officials.
