Hecto Group announced on the 26th that it held a project performance presentation and awarded outstanding projects by inviting students from the Software Department and Computer Engineering Department of Seokyeong University, who were mentoring projects as part of the ‘Software Talent Development Project’.
At the presentation held on the 25th of this month at Hecto Group headquarters, students summarized what they learned during the semester in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and big data, and were encouraged through awards for excellent development achievements. Hecto Group awarded 6 out of the 12 teams that participated in the presentation and provided a small prize to all participating teams. Outstanding students are given additional points for internships and recruitment. In fact, three students who participated in last year’s project are currently working at Hecto Group’s ‘AI Lab’.
Hecto Group operates IT, fintech, and platform businesses, focusing on nurturing AI talent as well as strengthening its own AI capabilities. Through the dedicated research institute ‘AI Lab,’ which will lead AI technology across the entire group, it has built an AI infrastructure. Furthermore, Hecto Group’s platforms are also being advanced using AI. Hecto Innovation’s card benefits platform ‘Thessen Card’ uses payment data and card benefit information to have AI manage card performance in real time and recommend the best benefits. Hecto Healthcare’s personalized healthcare platform ‘Ttobak Care’ also provides AI-based coaching services, such as recommending customized supplements according to individual health conditions and helping maintain consistent supplement intake.
