A YouTuber who told a netizen, who commented "It would be good to put a muzzle on large dogs," to "keep your daughters on a leash too," eventually apologized.

Recently, Mr. A, the operator of the pet dog-related YouTube channel 'Heartttongkkoroman' with 120,000 subscribers, apologized through the YouTube community, saying, "I apologize for the controversy caused by the comments I left over the past few days," and added, "I did not carefully consider the impact my emotionally charged comments could have on others." Mr. A explained, "Recently, I uploaded a reel on Instagram about being threatened by a man due to a muzzle dispute, and that reel also received comments telling me to put a muzzle on the dog. Since my videos often mention muzzles, emotions had been building up, and seeing such comments made me lose control of my emotions momentarily."

He continued, "When I visited the Instagram account of Mr. B, who left the comment, I found it was private and only had two names that appeared to be children’s names. I foolishly responded to Mr. B’s comment by mentioning those names from his profile and saying, ‘You should keep your children on a leash too,’ which was a regrettable action," and apologized. Mr. A added, "This was a thoughtless act on my part, and there is no excuse for this incident caused by my shortcomings. I personally apologize to Mr. B and his family who felt threatened, and I sincerely apologize once again here."

He also emphasized, "I never think dogs are above people. I have made continuous efforts to strictly train my dog to prevent causing harm to others. Despite my efforts, I was upset by the criticism I received about raising a large dog, and I regret expressing my feelings in an inappropriate and reckless way. I will be more careful with my words and actions in the future to ensure that such incidents do not happen again."

Earlier, Mr. A had posted a video of himself walking his dog and arguing with a passerby who said the dog should wear a muzzle. Mr. B, presumed to be a father of two daughters, commented, "Honestly, the man (who pointed out the muzzle in the video) didn’t do anything wrong. But dog owner, can you control your dog if it runs at children? It seems uncontrollable. Please put a muzzle on your dog to prevent possible accidents." In response, Mr. A mentioned the names of two individuals presumed to be Mr. B’s daughters and replied, "Just by their names, they seem wild, and if they see my dog, they’d probably scream and run toward it. You should keep your kids on a leash too," which drew criticism.

However, Mr. A’s dog is a Doberman breed and does not belong to the breeds that require mandatory muzzles, such as ▲American Pit Bull Terrier ▲Dosa dog ▲American Staffordshire Terrier ▲Staffordshire Bull Terrier ▲Rottweiler, or dogs crossbred with these five breeds.
