Governor Kim Tae-heum: "Let's Make Chungnam a Travel Destination People Want to Visit Again"
To ensure the success of the '2025-2026 Chungnam Year of Visit,' 15 cities and counties in Chungnam and public institutions have joined forces.
On the 25th, Chungnam Governor Kim Tae-heum signed a business agreement at the provincial government Cultural Arts Center with Chairman Jo Gil-yeon, 15 mayors and county heads, 5 heads of public institutions, and 12 heads of related organizations to successfully operate the Year of Visit Chungnam and revitalize Chungnam tourism.
According to the agreement, they agreed to cooperate in various fields to promote the Year of Visit Chungnam.
Governor Kim appointed actress Park Hae-mi, singer Park Min-su, and idol group N-CAIVE as additional Chungnam ambassadors.
The province plans to promote the Year of Visit Chungnam with the goal of reaching 50 million annual visitors by 2026 and advancing to the third place among domestic tourist destinations.
Governor Kim emphasized, "Chungnam will become a region that everyone wants to visit with nationwide interest and affection, and tourism will become Chungnam's future growth industry. Let us all work together to make Chungnam a travel destination that people want to visit again."
