Last year, Seo-gu invited renowned dining consultant Kim Yujin, known as the ‘Master of Business,’ to hold an academy for small business owners, providing customized education on management know-how and promotional strategies.
Through this, 38 ‘Seo-gu Masters of Business’ were produced, and they have been applying the training content to their businesses, achieving continuous sales growth.
They also formed a mentor group to pass on the management know-how they acquired to junior small business owners, aiming for mutual growth.
From November to December last year, 7 members of the first mentor group participated in sponsorship, and from February to May this year, 10 members of the second mentor group donated their mentor allowances as sponsorship funds for small business owners.
Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, “The academy participants have formed a mentor group to establish a virtuous cycle system for revitalizing neighborhood commercial districts, greatly contributing to realizing Seo-gu as a good city. I also hope that the ‘Master of Business Academy 2nd term,’ scheduled for the second half of this year, will be a time to give practical hope to small business owners.”
