The Boryeong City Council in Chungnam held the 259th regular session and announced on the 25th that Councilor Choi Eun-soon (People Power Party) was elected as the 9th term second half chairman, and Councilor Kim Jeong-hoon (People Power Party) as the vice chairman.

Additionally, Councilor Seo Gyeong-ok (People Power Party) was elected as the Chair of the Council Operations Committee, Councilor Kim Jae-gwan (People Power Party) as the Chair of the Autonomous Administration Committee, and Councilor Jo Jang-hyeon (Democratic Party) as the Chair of the Economic Development Committee.
