Mayor Hong Nampyo Expresses Gratitude for Contributions to City Development
On the 25th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a plaque of appreciation ceremony for the leadership of the 4th Changwon Special City Council's first half at the mayor's reception room in Changwon City Hall.
This ceremony was organized to express gratitude for the leadership's contributions to the development of the city through their active legislative activities during their two-year term.
On the 25th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a plaque of appreciation presentation ceremony for the first half of the 4th Changwon Special City Council's chairperson team at the Changwon City Hall reception room.
Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, presented plaques of appreciation to Kim Igeun, Chairperson of the Changwon Special City Council; Moon Sungyu, Vice Chairperson; Koo Jeomdeuk, Chairperson of the Council Steering Committee; Kim Kyungsoo, Chairperson of the Planning and Administration Committee; Park Seonae, Chairperson of the Economic, Welfare, and Women’s Committee; Jeong Gilsang, Chairperson of the Culture, Environment, and Urban Committee; and Kwon Sunghyun, Chairperson of the Construction, Maritime, and Agriculture Committee.
The 4th first-half leadership has worked tirelessly to address key issues in Changwon, such as adopting a government proposal for the establishment of a medical school and submitting a request to the Ministry of Land for the complete lifting of development restriction zones. They have represented the voices of citizens and actively engaged in legislative activities, helping to establish the council's reputation as an "effective assembly."
Mayor Hong said, "Although the two-year term of the first-half leadership has come to an end, I ask for your continued interest and invaluable advice as partners in city administration for the realization of 'Changwon, the hub city of Northeast Asia.'"
