Promotion of Culture and Arts for Persons with Disabilities, Venue Rental Fee Support, and Icheon Cultural and Artistic Activities
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced on the 25th that it will hold an additional public recruitment for the '2024 Artist Subsidy Support Project' to revitalize culture and arts from the 26th to the 3rd of next month. The additional recruitment target projects include ▲Promotion of Culture and Arts for the Disabled ▲Support for Performance Venue Rental Fees ▲Icheon Culture and Arts Activity Projects.
The 'Promotion of Culture and Arts for the Disabled' is a subsidy project that Icheon City started for the first time this year. Eligible applicants are cultural and artistic groups with more than 30% disabled members or non-disabled artistic groups that have performed cultural and artistic projects for the disabled at least once. It supports collaboration between disabled and non-disabled culture and arts, presentations and enjoyment of disabled culture and arts, and more.
The 'Support for Performance Venue Rental Fees' aims to alleviate the rental fee burden for artists (groups) and to revitalize performances and exhibitions through this, supporting 90% of the rental fees for performance and exhibition venues within Icheon City. Usage fees for auxiliary facilities are also included in the support.
The 'Icheon Culture and Arts Activity Projects' target culture and arts-related corporations and artistic groups located in Icheon City, supporting performance or exhibition activities in the culture and arts field.
Applicants must submit a local subsidy application form, an introduction of the group, and a detailed plan. For more information, check the general announcement section on the Icheon City Hall website or contact the Culture and Arts Division of Icheon City Hall.
