In particular, Deputy Governor Lee demonstrated exceptional capabilities in the field of safety, taking the lead on-site to protect residents and minimize damage during major wildfires, floods, and the COVID-19 pandemic, showing dedication and exemplary conduct in times of crisis.

With the launch of the 8th popularly elected administration, he actively responded to various public projects with insight into the county's vision and strategy and prompt execution, making significant contributions to improving the county's poor finances. He also laid a solid foundation for a "hopeful future for Hapcheon" by successfully attracting the Dumusan pumped-storage power plant and achieving the inscription of the Hapcheon Okjeon Ancient Tombs on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Deputy Governor Lee stated, "I believe that County Governor Kim Yuncheol and the public officials of Hapcheon County will continue to develop Hapcheon into the best local government in the country," and added, "I will do my best to continue contributing, even in small ways, for the benefit of Hapcheon County."

Meanwhile, the 36th Deputy County Governor of Hapcheon County will be Lee Jaechul, Chief Secretary of Gyeongnam Province, who is scheduled to assume office starting from the 1st of next month.
