NC Reveals Emergency Update Plan for TL... Gathering User Feedback

NCSoft announced on the 25th that it has unveiled an emergency plan for a major update to the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) "Throne and Liberty (TL)".

On the 22nd, NCSoft held an online and offline user meeting called "TL MEET UP." They disclosed detailed information about the emergency update and listened to various user opinions. The company plans to actively reflect user feedback to improve the game. The emergency update will be applied sequentially starting from the 24th of next month.

NCSoft will update the "Skill Specialization" system, which allows up to five functions to be added per skill. Users can create their own combinations by adding new features to the existing characteristics of skills. Specialization points will be awarded equally to all users based on level achievement.

Updates to improve the user growth experience will also be implemented. The normal difficulty of the 6-person party dungeon will be lowered to expand opportunities for acquiring equipment, and a "Challenge Dimension" consisting of 30 stages will be added, allowing users to select dungeons that match their growth stage and play accordingly.

The new region "Tolland" will open on August 21. Users will be able to access new content including a level cap expansion to 55, six types of field hunting grounds, and three types of field-type dungeons.

A limited-time "Hyper Boosting" server will be launched for four weeks starting from the 24th of next month, enabling new or returning users to receive various benefits and grow quickly. After the period ends, users will be able to transfer their characters to the server of their choice.
