The Air Force Air Defense Control Command, selected as the 124th medical service target, is responsible for air defense identification zone control and surveillance. The company explained that they visited in honor of the Month of Patriots and Veterans because many soldiers in subordinate units serve their national defense duties in frontline and remote areas.

The campaign was attended by Wi Se-ryang, Head of Communications Division at Lotte Wellfood, Choi Jong-gi, Director of External Cooperation at the Korean Dental Association, Hyun Jong-oh, Director of Dental Affairs at the Korean Dental Association, and about 10 volunteers including the medical team. They provided medical services such as oral examinations, cavity treatments, and scaling from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the previous day for soldiers of Unit 8498 under the Air Force Air Defense Control Command. After the treatment, they delivered gift sets of Lotte Wellfood snacks including Lotte Xylitol and expressed their gratitude to the soldiers.

Lotte Wellfood also delivered consolation goods to encourage soldiers who perform their duties with utmost effort even in the midsummer heat. They donated company products worth about 130 million KRW to four subordinate units of the Air Force Air Defense Control Command, including Unit 8498.

A Lotte Wellfood official said, "To express our gratitude to the soldiers who have worked hard to defend the country on the occasion of the June 25 Korean War Memorial Day, we visited the frontline units under the Air Force Air Defense Control Command and conducted this campaign. We plan to continue various social contribution activities by visiting not only veterans and families of merit but also marginalized groups and welfare blind spots in local communities."
