Guro-gu Awards Commendations to 81 Exemplary Residents for the First Half of 2024

Award Ceremony Held at District Office Auditorium on the Afternoon of the 24th

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the '2024 First Half Model Citizen Commendation Ceremony' at the district office auditorium on the 24th.

Every year, the district selects and awards commendations to individuals who have dedicated themselves to community development, volunteered, and actively participated in district administration, dividing the awards into the first and second halves of the year.

The ceremony was held in two sessions with about 200 attendees, including District Mayor Moon Heon-il, award recipients, and their families: ▲ at 2 PM for nine neighborhoods (Gocheok 1-dong, Gocheok 2-dong, Gaebong 1-dong, Gaebong 2-dong, Gaebong 3-dong, Oryu 1-dong, Oryu 2-dong, Sugung-dong, Hang-dong) ▲ at 4 PM for seven neighborhoods (Sindorim-dong, Guro 1-dong, Guro 2-dong, Guro 3-dong, Guro 4-dong, Guro 5-dong, Garibong-dong).

At the ceremony, 81 individuals who contributed to district development in five fields?model community leaders and professional organizations, cleaning and environment, community development, education and culture, and disaster safety?received commendations.
