This meeting, held for the first time in the Wonju area, was attended by over 50 participants, including President Lee Geunyong, university executives, professors from each department, current students, alumni, and prospective students.

The event featured programs such as the 2024 Fall Semester Admissions Information Session, an employment special lecture for alumni, a tour of the Park Kyungni Literary Park, and departmental meetings.

Alumnus Lee Jungmin, a graduate of the university's Department of Speech-Language Pathology, shared episodes about overcoming difficulties in university life and personal struggles in a special lecture for alumni, resonating deeply with students from the Gangwon region.

Lee Jungmin is currently actively working as an adjunct professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at Daegu Cyber University.

Professor Lee Jungmin said, "While working as a counseling expert at the center, I faced many challenges with recurring burnout, but I overcame them and reached where I am today. I am deeply moved and happy to be able to deliver messages of courage and support to my juniors at this moment."

During the departmental meetings, current students had the opportunity to freely communicate with professors, asking academic questions and sharing their opinions about their departments.

Lee Geunyong, President of Daegu Cyber University, said, "This is the first time we are holding a regional meeting in Wonju, Gangwon since the university's founding, which makes it even more meaningful. The university will continue to strengthen communication and network-building with students in the Gangwon region."

The next regional meeting is scheduled to be held in Jeju on July 13.
