Introduction to Major Tasks and Promotion Cases of the 8th Company Key Issues

Lotte Shopping announced on the 25th that it has published the '2023 Sustainability Management Report,' which contains last year's major Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management achievements and sustainability management policies.


This report is composed of ‘ESG Impact,’ which records Lotte Shopping’s ESG management system and key issues; ‘Performance Highlights,’ which includes sustainability management initiatives by business division; and ‘ESG Performance,’ which summarizes projects and achievements in the environmental, social, and governance sectors.

The report features the eight newly selected material issues based on a ‘double materiality assessment’ that considers both financial impacts and social/environmental impacts, focusing on major sustainability management activities and achievements carried out last year, as well as future strategies.


The environmental section of the report includes climate change response strategies, environmental impact management, and resource circulation. The social section introduces management systems such as human rights management, talent management, and safety and health management implemented by Lotte Shopping, along with programs for mutual growth with partners and social contribution. Lastly, the governance section explains the status of board operations, compliance management systems and policies, and integrated risk management systems.
