On the 22nd, a post titled "There is profanity written in red marker on a delivery vehicle in Ansan" was uploaded to an online community. The author, Mr. A, who introduced himself as a delivery driver, said, "I take pride in my work and work hard," adding, "I am an ordinary delivery driver who happily works, sometimes finding lost phones or valuables and handing them over to the management office, feeling proud."

Mr. A explained the situation, saying, "The day before (the 21st), my wife told me, 'Someone scribbled on the car.' I thought it was just a prank on the dusty top truck with a hand, but when I checked, there was profanity written in red marker." In the photo Mr. A shared, the back door of the delivery vehicle has profanity written in red letters saying, "Stop hogging the elevator so much, you XX (a derogatory term for a person)."

Mr. A said, "I often carry 20 to 40 packages at once and take the elevator. Recently, as order volume increased, I try to run and get back on the elevator before the doors close, and I sometimes get soaked in sweat," adding, "I have been embarrassed many times, worrying that someone might smell the sweat, but I never expected someone to write profanity with a permanent marker that cannot be erased."

He continued, "I'm not angry at the resident who had the time to bring the marker, but I posted this hoping people would be a little kinder to hardworking delivery workers," adding, "Please help ensure that the sweat and passion of those who work day and night to deliver customers' precious items are not in vain. Every word of encouragement means a lot." Regarding the marker, he said, "I have reported the incident but do not expect much," and added, "I apologize for causing concern to everyone who always greets me cheerfully and supports me with drinks and snacks at the door, and I am always grateful."

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "They ordered it themselves, so what's wrong with using the elevator a bit?", "Writing with a red pen definitely had malicious intent," "Check the CCTV to catch the culprit," "How long do they think they are holding the elevator to get this mad?" "This is property damage," and "They could have said it to your face instead of sneakily writing with a pen behind your back."
